Zella “Mae” Edmonds

Zella “Mae” Edmonds, 76, of Beaver Dam, Indiana, died at 9:36 pm, Friday, February 10, 2017 at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw.  She was born October 3, 1940 in Van Lear, Kentucky to Thomas Jefferson and Oshie Mae (Collins) Martin.

Mae attended Wabash High School. She worked 19 years at Shirt Shed in Wabash. She attended the Wabash Free Will Baptist Church. She was a huge NASCAR fan, loved Dale Earnhardt, and the Kentucky Wildcats.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Matthew) Tersigni of Beaver Dam, Indiana; four grandchildren, Larry (Brenda) Ray of Swanton, Ohio, Alvis Lee Edmonds Jr, of Houston, Texas, Leigh Ann Morris of Rutland, Ohio, and Tommilyn Erswell of Beaver Dam; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Alvis Lee Edmonds, her daughter, Deborah Lynn Edmonds, her grandson, William Curtis Edmonds, two brothers, and one sister.

Graveside services will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash, at a later date. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.

Preferred memorial is Animal Shelter of Wabash County.
