Wilma L. Gross, 86, Collierville, TN, died at 11:43 a.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2016, at Schilling Gardens Assisted Living. She was born in Marion, IN, to the late James D. and Sylvania (Artis) Young.
Wilma was a graduate of Sweetser High School and Fort Wayne Beauty College. She worked as a hairstylist for 45 years, owning and operating Wilma’s Beauty Shop.
Wilma is survived by her daughters, Cathy Hamilton, Marion, and Susan (Michael) Ackerman, Arlington, TN; grandchildren, Brett (Joyce) Hamilton, Noblesville, Lori Hamilton, Markle, Taylor (Madison) Ackerman, TN, and Jennifer (Bobby) Gates, TX; 9 great-grandchildren; and special adopted daughter, Robyn Huffman-Mitchell.
Friends and family may call from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Funeral services for Wilma will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 1, 2016, at the funeral home with Rev. Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial will follow at Grant Memorial Park in Marion.
