William F. “Bill” Beachy, age 80, of Huntington, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 1:38 am at his home. He served in the US Air Force and retired from truck driving for M & S Sheet Metal. He was a member of American Legion Post #85 and enjoyed traveling and woodworking.
Bill was born April 26, 1937, in Arthur, Illinois, the son of Noah and Elizabeth (Schlabach) Beachy. On March 22, 1980 he married his beloved wife of 37 years Carol Murray in Huntington. She survives in Huntington. Also surviving are a son William Beachy Jr., a daughter Virginia Sue Beachy, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Freda Wilhelm.
