William C. Garcia, 36, Gas City, passed away at 7:04 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Twin City Health Care in Gas City. He was born in Marion on January 6, 1981, to Eddie and Dulcenia (Garcia) Brownlee. William liked Hip Hop music and loved watching Sponge Bob.
He is survived by his loving parents; siblings, Michelle Lynn (Mike) Berry, Renee Lynn Morris, and Larry W. Garcia, all from Marion; special caregiver, Rhonda Purvis, Marion; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Preceding him in death were his grandmother, Helen Purvis; great-aunt, Betty Purvis; and brother, Tony Whelchel.
Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with William’s funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018, at Integrity Funeral Care, 2901 S. Washington St., Marion, IN. Pastor Mick Simpkins will be officiating with burial following at Grant Memorial Park.
