William (Bill) Russell Wagoner

William (Bill) Russell Wagoner, 73, of Bunker Hill was enjoying life with his beloved wife of 53 years, Tina, at their seasonal home in Bradenton, Florida. He passed away into the arms of Jesus on February 16th, 2018.

Bill adored his family, meeting and helping people, golfing and working outside. He accomplished many things in his professional and personal life. He was Vice President of Norris Insurance Agency for 48 years. He loved the Maconaquah Braves and the Community of Bunker Hill, he devoted over 30 years driving a school bus for Maconaquah School Corporation. Bill was a member of McGrawsville United Methodist Church.

Bill married Tina on March 29, 1964 they had three children Brent (Susan) Wagoner, Mark (Tifani) Wagoner, and Beth (Frank) Bunnell. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and always supported them in their life adventures. Derek (Brittany) Wagoner, Aaron (Tori) Wagoner, Breann Wagoner, William (Lindsey) Murphy, Hannah Murphy, Savannah Wagoner, Courtlyn Cripe, Tara Wagoner, Tera Wagoner, Gannon Myers, Gillian Myers, Kashmir Nabors, Keith Nabors, Joseph (Kristine) Bunnell, Laura Bunnell, and Evan (Kayla) Bunnell. His great-grandchildren brought him so much joy. Sophia, Kayden, and Neveah Wagoner, Ryder, William (Cruz) Wagoner. He is also survived by his brother Robert (Marty) Wagoner and sister Ruth Erdmann. Bill touched many lives and had many special friends he cherished many memories with.

When he arrived at the gates of Heaven he was reunited with his parents Leonard and Mary Margaret Wagoner, his mother-in-law Mary Quillen, his brother Richard Wagoner, grandson Tony Wagoner, brother in law Harold Erdmann and nephew David Wagoner.

Please join our family as we celebrate the life of Bill and the wonderful legacy he has left behind. He will be dearly missed. Join us at McGrawsville United Methodist Church on Monday, February 26, 2018, with visitation from 3pm – 7pm, with a celebration of life service following at 7pm, with Pastor Kenny Cole officiating. In lieu of flowers, Bill has requested that donations be made to Maconaquah Athletics in his memory.
