WABASH WICKS CANDLES NOW FEATURED AT THE VISIT WABASH COUNTY WELCOME CENTER

Wabash, Ind. – Visit Wabash County is excited to announce that Wabash Wicks Candles products are now for sale at the Visit Wabash County Welcome Center.

Allison Floor, Wabash Wicks Candles Founder, handcrafts candles, wax melts, soaps, and bath bombs. Floor began this hobby 17 years ago when she was looking for something to satisfy her desire to create things in her free time. With some help from her father, she ordered a truck load of materials for candle making to begin her business. It was then that Floor began to handcraft candles, and her father would sell them at his work or craft shows. In 2011, Floor began experimenting with soap making and had made a soap that cleared up her son’s eczema. After her successful discovery, she began to sell her handcrafted soap to a wider range of people and began taking custom orders.

Now that her children are grown, Floor has expanded her product lines and has become more invested in her business that she started 17 years ago. Her bakery styled candles and wax melts include many delicious scents such as Pink Sugar Vanilla, Strawberry Delight, Coffee Carmel Cream, Farmhouse, and more.

Floor said, “My products are different than others because they are not a traditional type of candle you see most places. Every candle I make is unique in its own way; no two are alike.” She enjoys creating things with her hands and being able to put a personal touch on each candle she makes. She currently sells candles, wax melts, soaps, and bath bombs.

“We discovered Allison Floor’s products on social media, and I instantly knew we needed to sell her products in the Welcome Center,” said Margie Justice, Visitor Services for Visit Wabash County, “Our customers are looking for locally made, unique, and fair priced items for themselves or to give as gifts, and Allison’s products fit that need perfectly.” Floor is planning to add a full line of bath and body products along with non-bakery scented candles. She is also working on a candle line that is special for Wabash, Indiana, featuring pictures of popular landmarks on the labels. Stop by the Visit Wabash County Welcome Center at 221 S Miami St. Wabash, IN to purchase her latest line of candles for $20 each, wax melts for $6 each, soaps for $5 each, and bath bombs for $3.50 each.
