Virginia Mae Levensky-Patton, 95, Marion, died at 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at Marion General Hospital. She was born in Marion, IN, to the late Frank and Lydia (Heil) Sample. She married her first husband, Leo Levensky, in 1935, and he preceded her in death in 1969. She later married Luther Patton, and he preceded her in death in 1997.

Virginia was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include her children, Danny (Wanita) Levensky, Amboy, Thomas (Cora) Levensky, Sun Lakes, AZ, and Robert (Susie) Levensky, Plant City, FL; daughters-in-law, Judy Levensky, Gas City, Linda Levensky, OK, and Sue Levensky, Amboy; step-children, Joe Patton, Andrews, Priscilla (Gregory) Newman, Arlington, TX, Patrick Patton, Fort Wayne, Vincent (Stacey) Patton, Bluffton, and Yavonna Wright, Markle; 14 grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 17 step-great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Esther (Van) Richardson, Indianapolis, Marge Carmichael, Marion, Mary Ruth Baker, Columbus, and James (Judy) Sample, Kuhn Lake.

In addition to her husbands and parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her sons, Sidney Levensky, Ronald Levensky, and Joseph Levensky; step-son-in-law, Orville Wright; brother, Leroy Sample; and brothers-in-law, David Carmichael and Bud Baker.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2016, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN. A vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1009 Kem Rd., Marion, IN, with Fr. Richard Weisenberger officiating. Burial will follow at Grant Memorial Park, Marion.
