Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Violet Hazel Williams born January 13, 1920 passed away peacefully on September 6, 2015 in Port Huron, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jack Williams and son William J. Williams along with her father and mother William S. and Beatrice Walker, her sister Mildred Cambridge, and her brothers John, Gordon, Allan, George, Kenneth, Alvie and Earl Walker. She is survived by her son Michael W. Williams, of Ruston, Louisiana, brother Pat Walker of Ontario, Canada and a special granddaughter Kaylee Jones, mother of her great grandsons, Neiqo and Lavar Junior of Peru, Indiana. Hazel was born and raised in Canada and came to the USA in 1948, where she drove taxis and school buses for over 30 years. She also owned and operated a restaurant in Wabash, Indiana for over 3 years. She married and traveled with her husband, Jack in the Air Force until he passed away. Hazel lived in Port Huron, Michigan off and on for most of her life, where she had several close friends. She will be missed especially by her loving cat, Babe. She was always good and caring to both friends and animals. Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Her cremated remains will be buried in her family plot next to her husband, Jack Williams, and her son, William J. Williams. Arrangements have been entrusted to Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home.
