Victoria E. Holland, 71 years old passed away peacefully and went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday June 19, 2016 at 8:36 AM at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Ft. Wayne Indiana. She was born February 8, 1945 in Wilmington, North Carolina to William McMinn Sr. & Elma (Jordan) McMinn. She married Robert Carl Holland in 1963, who preceded her in death.
She retired as a Home health Care-giver in 2005. She enjoyed shopping and socializing. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Peru, Indiana. She loved caring for her cat Torty Ann, and shopping at Wal-Mart. She loved spending time with family, friends, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Christmas was her favorite day of the year. She loved collecting snowmen and Christmas ornaments.
Surviving are a son Robert Michael Holland (Wife, Joyce) of Peru, Indiana. One daughter, Tracey Elaine Holland of Peru, Indiana. Also surviving are two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren of Pontiac,Michigan. Two brothers, William L. McMinn of Munster, Indiana, Michael Jack McMinn of Peru, Indiana. Two Sisters Rhonda Allen of Kokomo, Indiana and Julie Ann Childress of Peru, Indiana.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 1: 00 pm at the First church of the Nazarene at 331 W. 6th St. Peru, Indiana with the Pastor Floyd Laabs officiating.
