Tye R. Templeton, 66, Marion, died at 11:57 a.m. on Monday, April 25, 2016. He was born in Tucson, AZ, to the late Richard I. and Opal “Jane” (Paul) Templeton. He married Debbie Amos on November 19, 1992, and she survives.
Tye retired from SCM, where he worked as a forklift operator. He previously worked for Dunn Water and Wiley Metal. Tye enjoyed being outside, doing yard work, going boating, and spending time at his lake place. He was also very social, enjoyed playing cards, and loved watching his grandson play golf.
Survivors include his children, Angie (Shane) Drook, Marion, and Katrina (Ramon Martinez) Jones, Jonesboro; step-children, Larry (Carrie) Amos, Fort Worth, TX, and Jill (J.D. Dishman) Amos, Gas City; and 14 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Friday, April 29, 2016, at Integrity Funeral Care, 2901 S. Washington St., Marion, IN. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon with Pastor Steve Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory, Marion.
