Trevor S. Hughes, 40, of rural Peru, Indiana, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in Miami County. He was born June 18, 1976 in Peru, Indiana to James B. and Kathleen (Garner) Hughes.

Trevor was a 1994 graduate of Maconaquah High School, and received his associate degree from Vincennes University. He married Annie See at the Olive Branch Church of God on July 24, 2004. He was a farmer and also sold seed corn for Brodbecks and La Crosse Forage and Seed. Trevor was a member of the Olive Branch Church of God, and was on the Board of Directors at both the Miami-Cass County R.E.M.C. and the Miami County Soil and Water District. He was also a member of the Simmental and the Flecka Associations. He enjoyed farming, camping, and traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Hughes, and two daughters, Jenna Rose Hughes and Emma Dell Hughes, all of Peru, mother, Kathleen Hughes and his sister, Shanna (Paul) Emmons, both of Peru, brother, Evan Hughes of Macy, Indiana, and his in-laws, Mike and Jenny See of Roann, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his dad.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am Monday, August 8, 2016 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Pastor Jeff Sumner officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Peru. Friends may call 2-8pm Sunday at the funeral home.
