Timothy Alan Shane, 39, Marion, died at home of natural causes on March 20, 2016. He was born in Marion, Ind. to the late Richard Shane, Sweetser, and Marjorie Shane Shroll, Marion, Ind.
He had been employed at Agricor for the past 10 years. Tim was an avid Peyton Manning fan and of the Colts. He enjoyed fishing and bowling and spending time with his children when he could.
Tim is survived by a son Evan Patrick Shane; and daughters Sydney Abbott, Converse and Alexis Dingus, Marion; step daughters Kaleigh Dilts, Jonesboro and Trinity Haynes, Marion. Tim was also survived by brothers, Mike (Melanie) Shane Ames, Iowa; Patrick Richard Shane, Irvine, Calif.; nephews, Spencer and Colby Shane, Ames, Iowa; Ellis and Callie Shane, Irvine, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Shane; and also his wife, Rikkie Dilts Shane.
Friends may call between 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the Church of God of Prophecy, 906 N. 10th St., Gas City.
Memorial service is at 11 a.m. with lunch following service.
