Thomas F. Green, 87, Dublin, Ohio, died at 4:48 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2016, at Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Marion, Indiana, to the late Orville and Dorothy (Rogers) Green. He married Evelyn Messler on August 29, 1948, and she preceded him in death on March 8, 2015.

Thomas was a United States Air Force veteran and served in Strategic Air Command as a 1st Lieutenant. He earned his Master’s degree in Business and worked as a manager for Dana Corporation. Thomas was an avid builder, boater, and traveler. He was a member of First Friends Church in Marion.

Survivors include his children, John (Ruby) Green, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Diana (Wayne) Colyer, Dublin, Ohio; grandchildren, Alisha (Mike) Wilson, Kimi (Nate) Runyan, Jacob (Karen) Colyer, and Joseph Green; great-grandchildren, Seth Wilson, Bailey Wilson, Elizabeth Runyan, and George Runyan; and brother-in-law, Charles Messler.

In addition to his wife and parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Green.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at First Friends Church, 2211 N. Wabash Rd., Marion, with Pastor Bob Garra officiating. Burial will follow at Estates of Serenity.
