Terry D. Robison, 75, died Monday, May 1, 2017 at his Sweetser, Indiana residence.

Terry was born in Wabash, Indiana on August 31, 1941, son of the late Charles and Mary (Forbes) Robison. After graduation from Wabash High School in 1959, Terry joined the Air Force, serving 4 1/2 years during the Vietnam Era. Part of that time served overseas in Guam. Terry married Claretta Peters on May 23, 1965. He retired from TransCare Ambulance Service in Marion where he was an EMT and has also worked at General Tire in Marion and Wabash Technologies in Huntington. Terry served as a fireman on the Pleasant Township Fire Department for 30 years as well as an EMT for Grant County EMS for 20 years. He loved NASCAR and Indy Car races and went for many years with his family to the time trials. He also enjoyed golf, bowling and fishing, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren.

Terry is survived by his wife of nearly 52 years, Claretta, son Eric Robison, of Swayzee, IN, daughter Deanna (Rick) Cass and their children Erin and Riley of Alexandria, IN, Brother, Mike Robison, Anderson, IN, and brothers-in-law, Raymond Peters of Swayzee and George (Louise) Peters of Fairmount, IN.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana where the family will receive friends on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 4-8 PM.

Funeral Service honoring Terry’s life will be on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 11 AM with Pastor Todd Graham officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be at Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Township Volunteer Fire Department in care of the funeral home.
