Teresa was born in Ohio on March 2, 1962 to the late Paul J. and Janet L Amiott. She passed away on August 27, 2016 in her Marion home.
Teresa graduated from Lawndale High School in Lawndale, California. She resided in Marion for the past fifteen years. Teresa had a special fondness for animals and often volunteered at the animal shelter. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and she enjoyed watching the San Francisco Fourty-Niner’s. Teresa spoiled her three dogs and one cat, but especially her dog, Trixie.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet A. Amiott, Marion; brothers, Mike (Vicki) Amiott, Colorado; Paul Amiott, California; sisters Mary (Greg) Akin, Utah; Cindy (Jon) Passmore, California; Janet Hauck, Iowa; and grandchildren, Stevin and Chase Fox, Marion.
Teresa is also preceded in death by two brothers Steve and Gary Amiott.
A memorial service for Teresa will be announced at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Marion Chapel, 2722 South Washington Street, Marion, Indiana.
