Suzanne enjoyed canning, making costumes for her grandchildren, helping with 4-H projects, and baking and cooking for her family. Blessed with the gift of hospitality, she hosted family dinners and guests from near and far. Suzanne loved music, including singing hymns and praise songs, as well as listening to piano music from a variety of time periods. She also attended many sporting events throughout the years to encourage her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Merle, she is survived by her son, Todd (Lois) Templin, Whitestown, and their children, Margo (Ryan) Birk, Brownsburg, and Trevor (Megan) Templin, Whitestown; her daughter, Lynn (Mark) Townsend, East Leroy, Michigan, and their children, Sophie and Macy; and her son, Tim (Teresa) Templin and their children Tori, Claire, and Corey, Converse.
