St. Charles Bazaar to Celebrate its 38th Year

St. Charles Borromeo Parish will be hosting its annual church bazaar on Saturday September 10th, 2016 from 8am to 8pm in the St. Charles School parking lot located on West 5th Street in Peru.

A parish garage sale kicks off the event starting on Thursday and Friday from 8am to 4pm and continues on Saturday from 8am to 11am.

Tenderloin Dinner featuring the Lions Club tenderloins will take place from 3:30pm to 7:30pm in the school gym. Tickets are available and are $9 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Carry-out and Drive-thru service is also available for the dinner.

A major raffle will take place with a chance to win $50 each hour during the day, and four major drawing at 8pm of $1,000, $300, $200, and $100. Tickets are only $1 each.

The bazaar will also have a Wheel of Fortune and Bingo where you can try your luck.

A craft booth, plant and garden booth, and book/DVD booth will be set up for your shopping needs, and there will be games and blow-ups for the children to enjoy.

If you are hungry, stop by the Grill, Soda Shoppe, or Baked Goods booth.

Another highlight of the day is the live entertainment at Bob’s Tike Lounge located on the corner of 6th and Cass Streets. The music starts at 12pm with Choral Reef, and continues with Matt and John Kirk, Patron with Patrick Redmon, Take 2, Tony Brewer, Chasing Time, and the Coco Blues Band.

This is open to all people, not just parishioners of St. Charles. This event is an exciting time for the Peru community.
