Sonia L. Wolfe, 85, of Marion, IN, passed away at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the St. James Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL. She was born on Wednesday, April 1, 1931, in Green County, IN. She married Richard E. Wolfe on Friday, August 28, 1953 in Bloomfield, IN. Sonia was a graduate of Bloomfield High School and Marion College. She formerly worked at the Marion Chronicle Tribune and was a part of the Women’s Missionary Society and was a Good News Teacher for child Evangelism. Sonia was a member of the Countryside Wesleyan Church.
Survivors include: Husband – Richard E. Wolfe, Marion, IN, Son – Stephen (Debbie) Wolfe, Cicero, IN, Daughter – Rebekah (Mike) Brunk, Dunedin, FL, Daughter – Erlena (Tim) Emery, Clearwater, FL, Son – Michael (Kathy) Wolfe, Anderson, IN, Sister – Naomi Appleman Crochett, Gas City, IN, Brother – Jack Muterspaugh, Hurricane, UT, 12 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Father – Rex Muterspaugh and Mother – Pearl (Gibson) Muterspaugh.

A service to celebrate Sonia’s life will be at Marion Memorial Tabernacle at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 with Rev. Lois Helm officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the Marion Memorial Tabernacle starting at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in the Marion National Cemetery in Marion.
