SISTER JOHN FRANCIS RADLER, OLVM

SISTER JOHN FRANCIS RADLER, OLVM, 101, a resident Saint Anne’s Community at Victory Noll, died on Saturday February 24, 2018, at Saint Anne’s Community at Victory Noll, Huntington, IN.

Sister John Francis, (Dorothy Theresa Radler), was born in Milwaukee, WI, on March 29, 1916, to Alfred Radler and Barbara (Heindl) Radler. Both her parents and her sister, Elizabeth Radler preceded her in death.

Surviving Sister John Francis are her Victory Noll sisters, with whom she shared life and community for 80 years.

Sister John Francis entered the Congregation of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters on March 12, 1938, and made first vows on August 5, 1940. She worked in social work and helped to start and administer St. Elizabeth of Hungary Clinic in Tucson, Arizona. A mission she served for 20 years. She also served as the administrator for St. Barnabas Villa, in Northfield, Ohio. She returned to Victory Noll in 1992 to be the Holy Family Health Care Center Coordinator, retiring in 2000.

A Vigil Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at Archbishop Noll Memorial Chapel, Saint Anne’s at Victory Noll, 25 Victory Noll Drive, Huntington, IN.

Calling hours will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Archbishop Noll Memorial Chapel.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Archbishop Noll Memorial Chapel, Saint Anne’s at Victory Noll, 25 Victory Noll Drive.

Burial will be at Victory Noll Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
