Sharen Tibbets April 21, 1977 – January 15, 2017
Sharen Tibbets, 39, Marion, died in her home at 4:51 p.m. on Sunday, January 15, 2017. She was born in Corpus Cristi, TX, to Kim and Norma (Schie) Powell.
Sharen attended Marion High School. She loved animals, fishing, writing, crocheting and music. Sharen had worked for several years as an independent piercer in Grant County. She had a great love of body art and had over 100 tattoos.
Survivors include her father, Kim (late Norma) Powell, Marion; her children, Makayla (Brian Shrout) Powell, Marion, Gabriel (Victoria Sherman) Tibbets, Marion, and Ardeth Bae Tibbets, Marion; her granddaughter, Nova Jean Tibbets, Marion; her sister, Elenora (Derek Coleman) Powell; her brother, Danny (Shandel) Hodge; and her special friend and companion, Adam Jordan.
There will be a visitation from 12-1 p.m. and service at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery Chapel, 11201 S. Marion Road-35, Marion, IN 46952.
