Sedora E. Thomas, 62, passed away in Parkview Wabash Hospital, Wabash on March 6, 2018. She was born in Indianapolis to the late John and Evelyn (Harper) Evans on June 14, 1955.
Sedora graduated from Marion High School and after took some college courses. She worked for Carey Services and later worked as a dietary aid for Emily Flynn Nursing Home. Sedora enjoyed knitting and watching television, especially “Little House on the Prairie” and “The Waltons”. She attended the College Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by her children, Theresa A (Chad) Vice, Richard E. Thomas, Jr., both of Marion; brother, Chris Evans, Marion; sisters, Anna (Mike) Cook, Tampa, Florida; Sarah (Fred) Turner, Spiceland, Indiana; four grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 11 am -1 pm in Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Marion Chapel, 2722 South Washington Street, Marion, Indiana. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm with Rev. Alex Mandura officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Marion.
