Russell Eugene Schram

Russell Eugene Schram, 90, formerly of Peru, passed away at 7:31 PM, Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the IU Saxony ER in Fishers, IN. He was born in Peru on October 31, 1927, the son of Walter and Maggie Martin Schram. Russell married Martha Brock in Plano, IN on June 12, 1976 and she survives.

Russell was a graduate of Peru High School and the John Herron School of Art in Indianapolis. He was a US Army Veteran and his military declarations include the Army of Occupation Medal, and the WWII Victory Medal. Russell was employed as an Advertising Artist for more than thirty years.

Surviving in addition to his wife Martha is a son David Schram and his wife Rose of Peru, a step-son George Farmer and his wife Alice of Fishers, IN; grandchildren Theresa Schram, Todd Trottier and his wife Mollie, Robert Farmer, Zachary Farmer and Mae Farmer; great grandchildren Ethan Trottier, Regan Trottier, Jaide Trottier and Ryan Trottier. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Kathryn Myers and Shirley Gahs and a brother Jack Schram.

Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 PM, Sunday, December 10, 2017 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main Street, Peru, IN. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 11, 2017 at in the Peace Chapel, Crown Hill Cemetery, 700 W. 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN.
