Ruby Craig, 93, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 2:28 p.m., Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Autumn Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Wabash. She was born February 24, 1923 in Huntington, Indiana to Otto and Ramona (Bitzel) Parke.

Ruby was a graduate of Lincolnville High School. She married Raymond Craig, in Winslow, Indiana, in June of 1943; he died December 24, 1975. She was an LPN for 23 years at Wabash County Hospital, retiring in 1968; she worked five years at Essex Wire; 16 years at The Nursing Institution in Logansport and United Technologies, retiring in 1985. After retiring she moved to Fort Myers, Florida for a couple years then returned to Wabash and worked for Americare and the Dallas Winchester Senior Center since 1999. She loved spending time her grandchildren, fishing, playing bingo, and cooking.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth D. (Debbie) Craig of Wabash, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Butch Roberts, and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 12, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Pastor Bernice Pickering officiating. Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery, Lincolnville. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, on Friday.
