Rozella M. Bechtold, 93, North Manchester, IN died at 6:50 a.m. Friday, September 8, 2017 in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester, IN. She was born December 7, 1923 in Huntington County, IN to John I. & Anna Marie (Rickert) Bechtold. She graduated from Chester High School in 1941. She helped new mothers in their homes for many years. She was a member of North Manchester United Methodist Church, United Methodist Church Faith Circle, Wabash County Home Ec Club, Tri County Chorus Club, Wabash County Singles with a Vision and was active in Wabash County 4-H as a leader for many years. Rural Youth, Wabash County. Counselor and Sunday School teacher of youth at Salem United Methodist Church. Volunteer at Wabash County Hospital as Surgery Hostess. She gave music programs along with her sister for many organizations, they were known as The Bechtold Sisters. She also sang with Peabody Entertainers. She is survived by one sister Madalyn J. Bechtold, North Manchester, IN and many cousins. Family and friends may call Monday, September 11, 2017 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN and one hour prior to service on Tuesday. Services will be Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Peabody Chapel, 400 W. Seventh Street, North Manchester, IN. Rev. Sue Babovec and Pastor Mark Eastway will officiate.
