On Sunday May 1st, 2016 Rosemary Raber, 81, passed away at her home surrounded by her family. Rosemary was born June 23rd, 1934 in Logansport, Indiana to Boyd and Helen (Coss) Smith. She married William Raber on September 25, 1951 and had 8 children.
Rosemary was a homemaker and caregiver. She loved life and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She made anyone she met feel like family; she had an open door to anyone who needed one. She loved going to yard sales and to bingo. She was an animal lover; she enjoyed bird watching out her window and spending time with her dog and cat.
She is survived by her children: Ginger Raber, Michael Raber (Kathy), Angela: Harris (David), Nancy Peppers (Dan), Ronald Raber (Cindy), Bill Raber (Samantha), Rebecca Meeks (Grant), Jami Dailey (Mike) and 1 adopted daughter Patsy Struble (Jim). She. had 15 grandchildren: Sabrina Williamson, Patsy Raber, Andrea Vallo, Michelle Yard, Robert Raber, Janet Fitzpatrick, Jennifer Foley, Nina Bowen, Brandi Thoden, Alyssa Hensley, Tiffany Raber, Noah Raber, Savana Meeks, Megan Dailey, Sara Dailey. She is also survived by her 19 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband, her brother and a great grandson.
Family and friends may call at the Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home on Friday, May 6th, 2016 from 11a-1p. Funeral service will follow at 1pm, with Bryan Maggart officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
