Roselind McNamara Suback, 99, formerly of Peru, passed away at 8:44 A.M., Monday, January 2, 2017 in Sarasota, FL. Roselind was born in Peru, IN on June 19, 1917 the daughter of James and Anna Helmig McNamara. She married John Suback on November 21, 1945 and he preceded her in death on August 12, 2000. Roselind was a graduate of Peru High School, a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church and a homemaker. Surviving are her daughters, Mary Rossmeier and her husband Joseph of Vienna, VA and Cynthia Seager and her husband Donald of Bradenton, FL. Four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. Roselind was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John, and a son, John Suback, Jr, as well as sister Alice McNamara Wise, Lou Wise, and brother Jim and Laura McNamara, and brother Ed and Bess McNamara. A service celebrating the life of Roselind Suback will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 7, 2017 at St. Charles Catholic Church, 58 West 5th St. Peru with Rev. Adam Mauman officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the narthex of St. Charles Catholic Church 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alternatives In Motion Adoptions, 2509B FM1960 East, Houston, TX 77073. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home.
