Rose M. (O’Brien) McGraw, age 85, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016 in IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, Indiana.
Rose was born on June 24, 1931 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of the late Frank and Eleanora (Koers) Cardis. She married Robert F. O’Brien on May 30, 1951, and he preceded her in death on January 16, 1977. She then married Willis L. McGraw on November 22, 1980, and he preceded her in death on January 18, 2004. Rose went to St. Philips Neri School and St. Johns Academy. She was a homemaker and former member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Marion.
Rose is survived by children, Dan O’Brien (Sue) of Marion, Mike O’Brien (Sylvia) of Marion, Mary Ann Easterday (Gerry) of Ft. Wayne, Tom O’Brien (Nancy) of Coppell, Texas and Kevin O’Brien (Renee) of Yorktown, Indiana; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Kathy Sellers and Peggy O’Brien.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 28, 2016 in Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Father Richard Weisenberger officiating.
Burial will immediately follow funeral services in the LaFontaine I.O.O.F. Cemetery, LaFontaine, Indiana.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2016 in the funeral home.
