Ronnie W. Henry, 78 of Huntington passed away at 8:05 am on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Heritage Pointe of Huntington. Ronnie retired from Triad-Utrad/Magnetek in 1997 after 39 years of service. He enjoyed working in the yard and walking his beloved dogs as well as watching his grandsons play soccer. He loved his family very much, they meant everything to him. Ronnie loved to spend the winters in Florida.
Ronnie was born on February 5, 1939 in Huntington, the son of Donald and Lillian (Scheerer) Henry.
He was united in marriage to Joann Crumpacker. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include a son: Justin Henry of Huntington; a daughter: Rachel Henry of Huntington; three brothers: Gary (Dianne) Henry of Colorado; Terry (Peg) Henry of Warsaw; Rod (Anita) Henry of Huntington; two sisters: Susan (Greg) Poe of Huntington; Marsha Schnitz of Huntington and two grandsons: Tyler Henry of St. Paul, MN and Conner Henry of Huntington.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 11:00 am with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Pastor Samuel Padgett officiating.
Interment will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
