Rodney L. Bartrom, age 58, of Andrews, passed away Wednesday March 23, 2016 at 10:22 pm. He was an electrician with All Terrain Conversions, belonged to SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Huntington, adored his grandchildren, and was a jack-of-all-trades who enjoyed golfing, pitching horseshoes, and fishing.
Rodney was born February 23, 1958, in Huntington, the son of David R. and B. JoAnn (Garrison) Bartrom. He is survived by 2 daughters Holly Shepler of Moyock, North Carolina and Erin Springer of Columbia City, step-son Derick Wilburn of Huntington, 7 grandchildren, 4 brothers Rick (Jo) Bartrom of Auburn, Russell (Carol) Bartrom of Andrews, Roger (Kelli) Bartrom of Fort Wayne, Ronald (Angie) Bartrom of Huntington, and 3 sisters Pamela (Lewis) Benson of Huntington, Kelly (Ken) Carpenter of Fort Wayne and Cathy (Tracy) Bartrom of Huntington. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter Shannon Bartrom.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
