Robert L. Pace, 73, Marion, died at 7:35 a.m. on Friday, July 21, 2017, in Marion Rehab Center. He was born in Marion to the late Robert and Opal (Hazelbaker) Pace. Robert married Judith “Judy” Cummings on March 16, 1963, and she survives.
Robert served in the National Guard and was a self-employed mechanic. He enjoyed going camping with his family and watching NASCAR.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judy; son, Michael (Stephanie) Pace, Marion; daughter, Jennifer (Bruce) Edgington, Hartford City; and grandchildren, Megan Fort, Madison (Sam) Moore, and Josh Dominguez.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Bennie; and sister, Gladys Hodge.
The family will receive visitors from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Services for Robert will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Grant Memorial Park.
