Robert L. “Bob” Craw

Robert L. “Bob” Craw, 73, died unexpectedly Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at his Fairmount, Indiana residence.

Bob was born in Marion, Indiana on November 13, 1944, son of the late Robert Craw and Betty (Davis) Johnson. He was a 1962 graduate of Fairmount High School and proudly served in the Army National Guard for six years. Bob and Lee Anne Titus were married on June 26, 1964 at the Fairmount United Methodist Church. He worked at General Motors in Anderson for 35 years where he held many different positions.  He retired in 1999 as a fork lift driver.  Bob was a member of the Fairmount American Legion Post 313. He enjoyed wood working, yard work, and was a handy man who could fix just about anything. His family liked to tease him about his private hardware store. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lee Anne, children; Kelly (John) Moorman, Warsaw, and Scott (Mina) Craw, Fairmount, three grandchildren; Drew (Chelsea) Moorman, Laynie Craw and Cooper Craw, great-grandchildren Cameron and Alister Moorman. Siblings; Beth (Frank) Liestenfeltz, Marion, Julie (Ron) Caldwell, Tampa, Florida, Tony Craw, Fairmount, Marcie (Bob) Kendall, Marion, Sandra (Arnold) Rybolt, Pendleton, Sara (Wesley) Brookshire, Columbia City, Susan (Tom) Piper, Swayzee, and Spencer (Sharon) Bunch, Fairmount, and step-mother, Margaret Craw.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Maggie Craw, and sister, Diana Craw.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana.  As per Bob’s wishes services are private.

Memorial contributions may be made to Main Street Fairmount, the Salvation Army, or the Grant County Rescue Mission in care of the funeral home.
