Robert “Bob” R. Bechtold, 73, North Manchester, IN died Thursday, July 21, 2016 in his residence. He was born December 22, 1942 in Huntington County, IN to Duane & Ginevra (Auker) Bechtold. He was a lifelong self-employed farmer. Bob was a member of Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester, IN, a 51 year member of Deming Lodge #88 and member of Fraternal Order of the Moose. He was a former volunteer fireman with Chester Township Fire Dept. for 18 years. He is survived by his special friend, Linda Martin, Fairmount, IN; son, Bret (Michelle) Bechtold, North Manchester, IN; daughter, Beth (Dave) Wampler, North Manchester, IN; sister, Kay Eads, Wabash, IN; grandchildren, Austin Bechtold, North Manchester, IN, Trent Bechtold, North Manchester, IN and Craig (Deanna) Wampler, North Manchester, IN; great grandchildren, Halie & Abbie Wampler, North Manchester, IN.
