Robert “Bob” L. Williams, 72, Marion, was surrounded by his family when he died at 4:13 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, in his residence. He was born in Gas City, Indiana, to the late Floyd J. and Frances J. (Gaskin) Williams.

Bob was a graduate of Mississinewa High School. He worked as a forklift driver at Bell Fibre and was an electrician on the side. He held memberships at Eagle Lodge, Center Chapel Brethren Church (Miami Co.), and A.A. (20 years).

Survivors include his daughter, Christine L. (Rodney) Wilkerson, Gas City; step-children, Ronald (Vickie) Owen, Sturgis, SD, Lawrence (Amy) Owen, Marion, Mark (Jill) Burnsworth, Toluca, IL, Mary (Rusty) Carroll, Marion, Vickie (Steve) Lawson, Royce City, TX, Caroline Baird, Memphis, MO, Kathy (Ed) McEvoy, Bluffton, and Tiffany (Ollie) Gephart, Bluffton; Bob’s companion, Doris Owings; Doris’ mother, Rosanna Bloxson, Marion; sisters, Kate Ziller, FL, Doris (Don) Green, Hartford City, Helen (Chuck) Faunce, Gas City, and Florence Williams, Danville, IL; and many grandkids and great-grandkids.

Bob was also preceded in death by sisters, Velva “Bib” Couch, Freda Cropper, and Bonnie White; and brothers, James, Hershall, Bill, Mike, and Butch “Charles” Williams.

Visitation is from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2016, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN. Services will begin at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Alan Peck officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Gas City.
