Rick L. Hodson, 63, Jonesboro, died in a car accident at 6:23 a.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2017. He was born in Nuremberg, Germany, on March 31, 1954, to John Hodson, who survives, and to the late Barbara (Kelley) Hodson. His wife, Joyce Cooper Hodson, has been with her husband for 45 years, and they have a son, Troy Hodson, Kokomo; two daughters, Lori Hodson, Kokomo, and Kimberly Hodson, Jonesboro; and four grandbabies, Maddi Jo, 9, Riley, 7, Jayden, 6, and Trident, 6, whom he adored and teased constantly.
Rick was on his way to work at Chrysler in Kokomo when the accident occurred. He was a tool engineer and was going to retire in June of 2018 after 33 years. He loved traveling, cooking, missions work, sitting on the front porch during rain storms, and spending time with his wife and family. He will be greatly missed.
In accordance with the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
