Rick G. Marshall, 63, Marion, died at 1:50 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Marion. He was born in Marion, IN, to the late Eugene and Mary (Moore) Marshall.
Rick served the Marion community as a bus driver for Marion Community Schools for 40 years until his retirement in 2016. He enjoyed singing karaoke, and he loved riding his Harley. Rick also enjoyed hunting squirrel and deer. More than anything, Rick cherished the time he spent with his family, especially going out with his children on the weekends and being with his grandson.
Rick is survived by his children, Norma (Jeremy) Huron, Marion, and Cheryl (Jeff) Banter, Marion; grandson, Christopher Huron; siblings, Pam (Toby) Fansler and Nick (Linda) Marshall; several nieces, nephews, and friends; and his dog, Lucky.
Friends and family may call from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, 2016, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2016, at the funeral home with Rev. Mick Simpkins officiating. Entombment will follow at Grant Memorial Park, Marion.
