Richard M. (Rich) Aikman, 68, passed away Monday February 15, 2016 at Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru.
Rich was born March 20, 1947 in Peru to Charles and Mary (Killian) Aikman. He married Mary Lyons on May 4, 1985 and she survives.
He was a 1966 graduate of Peru High School and retired from Wal-Mart after many years. Rich was an avid bowler and softball fan and was a constant presence at the old Maconaquah Park diamond. For many years, Rich kept score for his sons’ Little League and fast pitch softball teams.
Rich is survived by his wife Mary, sons Leslie Foster of Texas, Shea Aikman of Kokomo, Ethan Aikman of Kokomo, brother Jim Aikman of Peru, and niece Kelly Aikman (Brian) Kinser of Noblesville, Indiana.
