Rex Edward “Eddie” Earhart, 46, of rural Wabash, Indiana, died at 10:45 a.m., Monday, March 28, 2016 at his mother’s home. He was born January 15, 1970 in Bluffton, Indiana to Rex R. Earhart and Katrina (Napier) Pitts.

Eddie enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and spending time with his family. He loved to take rides to the reservoirs with his stepfather and brother-in-law. Eddie always enjoyed family get-togethers and playing with his nieces and nephews. He was a loving and kind-hearted person who found good in everyone. He also enjoyed his visits with Pastor Tod Masters, Gina Masters, and other friends.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Katrina M. and Henry Pitts, Jr. of Wabash, sister, Billie Jo (Steve) Stamper of Wabash, step-sister, Ladonna Pitts of Bloomington, Indiana, three nieces, Brandi (Erik) Haeft of Huntington, Indiana, and Skyler Maples and Sidney Stamper, both of Wabash, nephew, Matthew (Stephanie) Maples, Jr. of Wabash, four great-nieces and one great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 1 at Wabash Freewill Baptist Church, 1056 Erie Street, Wabash, with Pastor Tod Masters officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 6-8 p.m., Thursday, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash.

Preferred memorial is Wabash County Cancer Society.
