We gained another angel when Rebecca “Becky” Foreman, 67, entered Heaven’s pearly gates on December 26, 2016 after her valiant fight with cancer.

Known for her outgoing and loving personality, some may be surprised by the shyness of her youth. Yet as a child, she possessed a contagious smile and entertaining sense of humor. Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many. Her signature gift of joy was shown through her constant smiling, laughter and genuine love for God and others and will never be forgotten.

The love of her life and soulmate of thirty years is Bill Foreman. The very moment he laid eyes on her and their eyes connected he could see the beautiful depths of her soul and the rest has been a beautiful love story. She always said to him, “God gave me you.”

Her pomeranian, Bouncer, will miss her most. He cherished and protected his mommy.

Becky loved her four children, Mark (Crystal Sutton), Marion; Norma “Jilleen” (Gunner) Kesler, Paoli; Tracie (Lonnie) Crite, Marion; Brian Foreman, Marion. She most treasured her grandchildren, Jude, Brianna, Brayden, Alyssa, Meagan, Lynai, Chase and Rain. She even gained extra gradkids, Breanna, Shadelyn and loved them like her own. Her highest honor was being “Gigi” to her great-grandkids, Aubrey, Weston and Kalix.

The ones that knew her and loved her longest are her brothers, David (Nancy) Ellis, Canaan, Indiana; Joe (Patricia) Ellis, North Bend, Washington; sisters, Glenetta Ellis, Marion; Norma Ledington, Oklahoma; Kay O’Malley, Indianapolis.

Her second family who also loved her dearly are her mother-in law, Marjorie Foreman, brothers-in-law, Robert (Mary Margaret) Foreman and John (Jeanie) Foreman. She was loved by so many nieces and nephews who kept secretly calling her their favorite aunt. Your secret is safe with her. Besides her family who loved her there is her church family who loved her and are second to none.

She spent a lifetime of service and devotion to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her church home was Healing Heart Church of God, Marion. She served as the pastor’s right hand and secretary. She especially loved the youth group and cherished them all. They always had a special place in her heart.

Becky has some pretty special angels who greeted her in heaven. The ones closest over the years are her parents, Glen and Charlotte Ellis, her sisters, Judy Judd and Marilyn George, her darling niece, Amber Kay Ellis, father-in-law, Bob “Gramps” Foreman and daughter-in-law, Teresa Foreman.

She deserves so much more than a traditional obituary and run-down of her life. She wouldn’t want us to sit around and cry. She said she wanted us to celebrate her life and that is what we will do at 1pm on Saturday, December 31, 2016 in Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Marion Chapel, 2722 South Washington Street, Marion, Indiana with Pastor Delmar Fenwick officiating.

Visitation will be held from 11am until services in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to Healing Heart Church of God, 2701 South Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953.
