Randy W. Rodgers, 56 of Huntington passed away at 9:18 am on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Lutheran Hospital. Randy served his country in the United States Army. He was a roofer and he enjoyed fixing things. He enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles. He loved NASCAR and Jeff Gordon was his favorite driver. He was a very talented artist; he loved his children and grandchildren.
Randy was born on February 10, 1960 in Huntington, the son of Bobby and Linda (Kimmel) Rodgers.
Survivors include two daughters: Brandy (Rick) Littlefield of Bronson, MI; MaKayla Rodgers of Huntington; two sons: Eric (Amanda) Slusser of Huntington; Ryan Rodgers of Angola; a brother: Steve (May) Rodgers of Huntington; three sisters: Sheila Leitner of Lakeland, FL; Deb (Archie) Haney of Huntington; Theresa (Joe) Bradin of Huntington and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother: Jeff Whitacre and a brother: Gary Rodgers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 4:00 pm following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
