Randal “Randy” Keith Cox, 64, Marion, died at 9:02 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2016, in his home. He was born in Marion, IN, to Phillip and Mary (Moreland) Cox. He married Charlene Warnock in 1973, and she preceded him in death in 2005.
Randy was a United States Army veteran. He retired as a service technician from Moon Vending. Randy enjoyed model trains and fishing, and he loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his children, Wendy Jane Barrow, Marion, Charles Keith Cox, Marion, and Matthew Brian Cox, Marion; mother, Mary Louise Smithley; siblings, Rick Cox, John Davidson, Keith Cox, Mark Cox, Patty Niday, Jackie Ormsby, and Phyllis Cox; grandchildren, Justine Jane Barrow, Jasmine Jane Barrow, Jarrod James Barrow, and Nevaeh Charlene Cox; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Randy was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene, and father, Phillip Cox, Sr.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2016, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Mark Hummel officiating. Burial will follow at Grant Memorial Park.
