WABASH, Ind. – Zion Lutheran Church is hosting a pulled pork dinner to assist the Woods and Slone Families, whose homes in Roann were destroyed by a large fire on June 7th this year. The fundraiser will be held on Saturday, September 9th from 4:30 to 6:30pm in the Fellowship Room at Zion Lutheran Church, located at 173 Hale Drive in Wabash. Free-will donations will be accepted, and food will be carry-out only. Zion Lutheran Church would like to thank Mike Saunders at Farm Bureau Insurance for donating the hog, and Rex Baer for volunteering to cook it. Side dishes of chips, cole slaw, and applesauce will be provided by Poole Foods. Both the Woods and Slone families suffered total losses to their houses and personal property. All donations will assist with their recovery.
