Phyllis E. Stayer, 79, North Manchester, IN died at 6:03 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2016 in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, IN. She was born August 15, 1937 in Bippus, IN to Willis & Geraldine (Cunningham) Sims. On October 1, 1955 she married Gerald E. Stayer. He died January 30, 2015. She was a member of Missionary Church, North Manchester, IN. Phyllis retired from Eaton Controls, North Manchester, IN. She is survived by her son, Brian (Marjory) Stayer, North Manchester, IN; daughters, Gail Stayer, North Manchester, IN, Diana (Steve) Music, North Manchester, IN and Elaine Fletcher, North Manchester, IN; brothers, Chester (Elizabeth) Sims, Scottsburg, IN, Charles (Glenda) Sims, South Whitley, IN,and Timothy (Elizabeth) Sims, Wayland, MI; sisters, Fran (Richard) Adams, Churubusco, IN, Judy (John) Wilmot, Columbia City, IN and Rita Shelton, Columbia City, IN; brothers-in-law, Frank (Emmajean) Stayer, Kendallville, IN and Everett (Dorothy) Stayer, Huntington, IN; sisters-in-law, Judy Sims, Columbia City, IN and Roberta Sims, Flordia; Eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
