Phillip Lee Bozell, age 78, of Huntington, passed away Monday, June 20, at 7:50 pm at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.  He was a farmer and owned Bozell Construction since 1980.  He was an avid bowler and competed in numerous tournaments. He also enjoyed fishing.

 

Phillip was born August 9, 1937 in Anderson, the son of Cleman and Ruby (Feely) Bozell.  On August 10, 1984 he married his beloved wife of 31 years Betty Little in Huntington and she survives in Huntington.  He is also survived by 3 daughters Lisa (Brent) Louthan of Roanoke, Trina Berry of Huntington and Nicole (Eric) Scheiman-Miller of Huntington, a son Rick (Leaza) Scheiman of Warren, 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, a brother Tom (Lenore) Bozell of Blaine, Minnesota and a sister Martha Holley of Huntington.  He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 5 brothers.

 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 22 from 5-8 pm at Deal-Rice Funeral Home- Huntington Chapel and one hour prior to the 10:00 am funeral service Thursday June 22. Pastor Scott Nedberg will officiate.  Burial will follow in Andrews Riverside Cemetery.
