Penelope “Penny” Marie Davidson, 66, of Lagro, Indiana, died at 2:34 am, Saturday, August 19, 2017 at her home. She was born May 19, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois to Charles and Fern (Weddle) Peltier.
Penny was a 1969 graduate of Linton High School. She married Leonard Davidson in Linton on March 29, 1970. She worked at Mosier’s Tarp in Wabash. Penny enjoyed horses, gardening, her family, and volunteering for the Lagro children at the library. She was a member of the New Beginnings Community Church in Fort Wayne.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard Davidson, and her son, William (Kelly) Davidson, both of Lagro; five grandchildren, Zach Rife of Lagro, Cody Davidson of Wabash, Harley Davidson, Zakk Lee, and Brionna Davidson, all of Lagro, IN, two great-grandchildren, Kinlin Rife of Lagro, and Major Davidson of Wabash, and three sisters, Sandy O’Shell and Charlotte (Wendell) Davidson, both of Wabash, and Diane Peltier of Andrews, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, and her daughter-in-law, Daphanie Davidson.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Pastor David Howe officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 2-8 pm Wednesday, at the funeral home.
