PERU, Ind. – Peru Community Schools Board of Trustees met Monday evening and conducted their Black and Gold Awards and recognitions. Blair Pointe Upper Elementary Instructional Assistant Linda Bandekar was presented with an award for her accomplishments. The Peru Wrestling Club was recognized for their achievements. State qualifiers Trey Strurgill and Jordan Rader received awards. Coach Andy Hobbs and Coach Daric Fuller were also presented with awards. Here is Superintendent Sam Watkins:
