On September 15, 1937, Pauline married the love of her life, Orvil W. Kirby. They shared nearly 60 years together until he preceded her in death on March 17, 1996.

Pauline graduated from Jonesboro High School and worked as a line hand at Marion’s RCA. She and Orvil were blessed with a large and loving family, and it gave her great joy to teach her grandchildren about the Bible. She was a member of Marion Memorial Tabernacle.

She had many hobbies, especially reading, which she routinely did up until the day she passed. Pauline also liked watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and Little House on the Prairie.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her son, Daniel Kirby, Fairmount; daughters, Teresa (Bob) Graham, Phoenix, Arizona, and Jacqueline (Robert) Rhodes, Jonesboro; 12 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Evelyn Scott, Eldora Gould, and Janet (Gene) Barton. Also surviving are several special extended family members, her church family, and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Kirby; great-grandsons, Cameron Nichols and Marty Kirby, Jr.; sister, Wilma Corn; and brothers, Ronald, Donald, and Richard Kirby.

The family will receive visitors from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 2017, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.

A celebration of life service for Pauline will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at the funeral home with Pastor Lois Helm officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
