She is also survived by her children Kenneth Comerford (Ryanne) of Doyline, La; Christina Comerford (Peter Debruyn) of Lakewood, Co; Jace Holtzlander (Rebecca) of Wabash, In., and Sarah Holtzlander (Kristopher Kraning) of Peru, In., as well as many cousins and other extended family. Throughout her life, Sunny had many different occupations and passions.  Most recently, she was most passionate about her work with Fitteam Global and volunteering at Ole Olsen Memorial Theatre, where she had been a performer, officer, director, and had even written an original Cole Porter Revue, “Kountry Fried Cole” in 2014.

To all who knew Sunny, she was more than the sum of her history. She was a constant light full of love, encouragement and acceptance. She had a passion for music that matched her passion and acceptance of other people. And she was that rare type of person who would offer to help others not with any hesitation, but with a smile, joke and hug instead. Her presence was as constant and steady as her love for others, and she will be deeply, deeply missed.

An open visitation with the family will be held on Friday, March 31st, 2017, from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Peru Depot at 151 S. Broadway, Peru, Indiana.
