Nova L. Faulk, 53 of Fairmount died peacefully and entered into Heaven Saturday February 13, 2016 at her home while in the presence of family and friends. Nova was a strong fighter and fought a furious battle with cancer and now rests peacefully in the arms of her Savior.
Nova was born September 30, 1962 in Anderson, Indiana to the late Charles J. and the late Virginia I (Heater) Faulk. She graduated from Madison-Grant High School in 1981 and had been employed by Driskill’s Market and Hometown Express. She attended Fairmount Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed doing yard work, being with her grandchildren, and her dog Duke Elliott.
The family would like to thank Dr. Bendaly and the nurses for the great care that they gave to their mother.
Survivors include 3 daughters; Gabrielle (Tony Johnson) Faulk, Fairmount, IN. Mia Faulk (Willard Nielander and Alsager Anderson), Fairmount, IN. Johanna (Charles) Thompson, Fairmount, IN . 3 sisters; Tammara (James) Layman, Allons, TN , Leah (Michael) Jones, Jonesboro, IN, and Theresa Davis, Fairmount, IN.
3 Grandchildren: Je’Savyorh Faulk, Jayvion Faulk, and Jacoby Nielander.
She was preceded in death by grandson Nathaniel Charles Emerson Thompson and sister Lometta Faulk.
Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, Indiana has been entrusted to care for Nova and her family. The Family will receive friends on Friday February 19, 2016 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. A funeral service will Saturday February 20, 2016 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Luedtke officiating, a graveside service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday February 27, 2016 at Park Cemetery, Fairmount, Indiana with Pastor Don Miller officiating.
Memorial contributions are to the funeral home for the family to offset funeral expenses or Cancer Services of Grant County.
