Norman D.C. Campbell, 82, Wabash, died at 1:42 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2016, at Autumn Ridge Rehabilitation Centre. He was born in Kentucky to the late Charles and Nancy (Roberts) Campbell. He married Martha Scruggs on February 9, 1976, and she preceded him in death on September 3, 2010.
Norman was a United States Army veteran, and he served in the Korean War. He enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, fishing, bicycling, and going to auctions.
He is survived by his children, Donna J. (Alex) Arnold, Marion, and Donald E. (Christy) Campbell, Jonesboro; sisters, Rachel Carr and Audrey Moore, both of Dayton, OH; grandchildren, Misty Arnold, Alex (Julia) Arnold, Jr., Amber McDowell, Michael McDowell, and Isaac Campbell; and great-grandson, Jayce Darby.
Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2016, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Rev. Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial will follow at Grant Memorial Park, Marion.
