Nolan Palmer (8) of Peru, IN went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, June 4, 2016 while surrounded by his family.  He was born on August 28, 2007.

Nolan was a little guy who was full of life and full of laughs in spite of challenging physical conditions.  His joy was contagious and he taught many life lessons to all he came in contact with.  Even though he couldn’t talk much, he still had much to say.  Nolan loved starting his day with music, playing with his toy trucks and throwing his ball so others could chase it.  He enjoyed playing with his brother and sister and pestering the family dogs.

Nolan is survived by his loving parents, Kevin and Holly Palmer of Peru; brother Tyler and sister Kelsie; grandparents James and Kathy Palmer of Elwood; grandparents Jeff and Donna Stout of Elwood; several great grandparents, great great grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Nolan leaves behind many wonderful caregivers that spent countless hours taking care of him.  Riley hospital became his second home where he connected with numerous doctors, nurses and caseworkers.  He also stole the hearts of many on the staff of White’s Family Services, Wabash.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 4-8pm at Calvary Temple church 2908 W. 200 N. Peru, IN.  A service celebrating Nolan’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 8th at 10am at the same location. Pastor Kevin Palmer will be officiating and burial will follow at Greenlawn cemetery, Mexico.  Pastor Rod Correll will lead the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Palmer family to help with funeral expenses.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home.  Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at www.FlowersLeedyAllen.com.
